Sunday Worship: Lent 5: Faithfulness When No One is Watching

Mar 22, 2026    Aaron Atchley

This week, we continue our Lenten journey by stepping into what at first feels like a smaller story — the quiet, ordinary lives of Ruth and Naomi — set against the darkness we’ve been walking through. As we travel this road together, we begin to notice how faithfulness, loyalty, and love take shape not in dramatic moments, but in everyday choices. Along the way, we discover that God is already at work in places that seem overlooked, gently weaving redemption into the lives of ordinary people. As the light begins to rise on our journey, we start to see that this story is not small at all, but part of something much bigger that God is unfolding. And we’re invited to recognize that our own lives, our own choices, are part of that same story God is still writing. This week, we move forward together with a growing sense of hope, trusting that even now, God is leading us somewhere we cannot yet fully see.
